We have designed a fully automated 2

Eksigent have designed a fully automated 2-dimensional chromatography system ideal
for whole proteome profiling, low abundance protein identification, and post
translational modification.
Built with a 10-port column switching valve, 2 binary gradient pumps and
autosampler. The NanoLC-2D system does not only provide high-throughput
proteomics, it is designed for flexibility. The system allows three modes of
operation: 1D, 2D, or parallel separations.
Features
- Optimized for ultra-low flow rates of first dimension 1-20 µL/min, second
dimension 50-1000 nL/min.
- Novel
pumping system eliminates the need for flow splitting, providing excellent
run-to-run reproducibility.
- Active flow control of each mobile phase
- Measurement of flows with active feedback.
Intuitive software platform for simple setup and operation
- Easy
to learn, operate and maintain.
- Graphically program gradients for immediate visual confirmation.
- Create and modify a method in less than 1 minute.
- Import, store and recall standard methods to create a methods library.
- Rapid
peak parking without the need for additional valves or external syringe
pumps to increase identification of co-eluting or low abundance peptides.
Revolutionary pumping system
- Two
fully independent binary gradient systems allow operation in a variety of
modes, including automated 2D, parallel, and rapid sample loading.
- Direct pumping results in reproducibility and sensitivity needed for
proteomics applications.
- Quickly responds to changes in flow rate set point in less than 2 seconds.
Autosampling system designed to meet proteomics workflows
- Flexibility in sample sequences, from full loop, partial loop and zero
sample loss modes.
- Accepts a wide range of sample volumes, with rapid injection of large sample
volumes.
- Fully
integrated controls with system’s software interface.
